Abstract

The front sole holding device comprises a support bearing which is rotatably supported in lateral bearing blocks which are fixed with respect to the ski, the ski boot resting on the support bearing in a positive-locking manner in the cross-country skiing position. In order to achieve this positive-locking engagement, the boot sole comprises a recess which is adapted to the support bearing constructed as a straight-line shaft, the support bearing fitting into the recess. A tightener lever serves to hold the boot on this support bearing, which tightener lever is swivelably supported by means of tension bars and comprises, at its free end, a pressure piece which presses on the overlapping edge of the boot sole in its closing position, in which the tightener lever is located in a top dead center position. For downhill skiing the boot is placed directly on the ski and the tightener lever is swiveled under the support bearing and comprises, at its end located opposite the pressure piece, a sole hold-down device which overlaps the upper edge of the sole in the downhill skiing position. The tightener lever is held by means of the support bearing under which it is swiveled for the downhill …
