Abstract

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material, comprising at least one silver halide light-sensitive emulsion layer provided on a support wherein at least one of said light-sensitive emulsion layer contains (i) at least one 5-pyrazolone coupler having an elimination group represented by the following general formula (I) at the coupling position thereof and (ii) at least one monodisperse cubic silver halide emulsion containing at least one metal ion selected from the group consisting of ions of metals of Group VIII of the Periodic Table, transition metals of Group II of the Periodic Table, lead and thallium in an amount of from 1.times.10.sup.-9 to 1.times.10.sup.-3 mol per mol of silver halide, said emulsion being obtained by incorporating said metal ion into silver halide grains in the silver halide light-sensitive emulsion by adding the ion to an emulsion formation system before or during formation of the grains or after formation of the grains but before the addition of a chemical sensitizer; ##STR1##
