Abstract

Rhodium hydroformylation catalysts containing bisphosphite ligands of the formula I ##STR1## where -X- is a divalent bisarylene radical or R.sup.1, PA1 w is a divalent arylene, bisarylene or alkylene radical, and PA1 R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different and are substituted or unsubstituted alkylene or ortho-arylene.
