Abstract
Novel compounds are disclosed having the formula ##STR1## where A is ##STR2## and wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are as defined herein. These compounds inhibit the action of angiotensin II and are useful, therefore, for example, as antihypertensive agents.
