Abstract

A process for separating from one another non-functional, monofunctional and bifunctional species in a mixture of perfluoropolyoxyalkylenes of general formula EQU X--O--Rf--Y where: PA0 Rf=a perfluoropolyoxyalkylene chain comprising monomeric units of formulas (CF.sub.2 O), (CF.sub.2 CF.sub.2 O), (CF.sub.2 CF.sub.2 CF.sub.2 O), PA0 X, Y, like or different from each other, are non-functional end groups or end groups containing functions OH and/or NH.sub.2, which consists in subjecting said mixture of perfluoropolyoxyalkylenes to column chromatography using, as eluents, non-polar fluorinated solvents, either alone or in admixture with polar solvents.
