Abstract
A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The light-sensitive material comprises a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a coupler represented by the following formula I or II; ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a group having a Hammet's .sigma.p value of 0 or more; X1 is a hydrogen atom or a substituent capable of splitting off upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; Y.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a substituent; and Z.sub.1 is a group of non- metal atoms necessary for forming an aromatic six-member heterocyclic ring which may have a substituent, ##STR2## wherein R.sub.2 and Y.sub.2 are independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent; X.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom or a substituent capable of splitting off upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; and Z.sub.2 is a group of non-metal atoms necessary for forming an aromatic five-member heterocyclic ring which may have a substituent.
