Abstract
Distillate fuel compositions containing an alkyl ether mono amine having the formula EQU RO[C.sub.4 H.sub.8 O].sub.(9-18) CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 NH.sub.2 where PA1 R is a highly branched alkyl group derived from a Guerbet alcohol containing between 12 and 40 carbon atoms are effective in reducing the formation of intake valve deposits in internal combustion engines.
