Abstract

Novel expression plasmids containing SV40 replication origin and a DNA fragment having a promoter region for a human polypeptide chain elongation factor-1.alpha. gene. The expression plasmids have high applicability to a wide range of host cells with high expression efficiency in transient expression systems.
