Abstract

The invention relates to new substituted triazoles of the general formula (1) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents alkyl, PA0 R.sup.2 represents alkyl, PA0 R.sup.3 represents alkyl, PA0 R.sup.4 represents in each case optionally substituted cycloalkyl or aryl, PA0 R.sup.5 represents either hydrogen, alkyl or cyano and PA0 R.sup.6 represents hydrogen or alkyl or PA0 R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 together represent divalent alkanediyl, PA0 A represents one of the radicals --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --; --CH(CH.sub.3)--CH.sub.2 --; --CH.sub.2 --O--; --CH.sub.2 --S--; --CH.sub.2 --N(R.sup.7)--; --CH.dbd.CH-- or --C.dbd.C-- and PA0 X represents oxygen or sulphur, where PA0 R.sup.7 represents hydrogen, alkyl or alkanoyl, PA0 but with the exception of the compound 5-dimethylamino-4-methyl-3-(4-phenylbut-2-ylaminocarbonyl)-1,2,4-triazole, PA0 a plurality of processes for their preparation, and their use as herbicides.
