The present invention relates to electroviscous liquids consisting essentially of PA0 (I) a polymer or polymer mixture, PA0 (II) an electrolyte dissolved in (I),. PA0 (III) optionally an additive miscible with the solution of (I) and (II), PA0 (IV) optionally a viscosity-increasing additive reacting with (I); PA0 (V) a dispersant and PA0 (VI) a non-aqueous dispersion medium.
