Abstract

The invention relates to the use of a substantially clear and at least largely solventless, aqueous, one-component polyurethane dispersion based on the reaction products of PA0 a polyol mixture consisting completely or partly of polypropylene glycol, PA0 a mixture of polyfunctional isocyanates consisting completely or partly of .alpha.,.alpha.,.alpha.',.alpha.'-tetramethyl xylene diisocyanate (TMXDI), PA0 a functional component capable of salt formation in aqueous solution and PA0 optionally a chain-extending agent as a universal household adhesive and to a process for its production in the absence of inert solvents.
