Abstract
In the application of a decorative coating onto a glass pane by the silk screen printing process, a printing screen (2) is used, the printing surface of which extends beyond the peripheral face (9) of the glass pane (1). The printing ink situated in the meshes of the printing screen outside the glass surface in the printing operation is blown away or is sucked away by a suction nozzle (23), which is guided over the printing screen (2) behind the scraper (21).
