Abstract

This invention provides a method of treating immunoinflammatory bowel disease in a mammal in need thereof which comprises administering an antiimmunoinflammatory amount of rapamycin, alone or in combination with cyclosporin A. As such, rapamycin, alone or in combination with cyclosporin A, is useful in treating bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative proctitis, and the like.
