Abstract
There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a base, which comprises in said silver halide emulsion layer a dispersion including at least one yellow coupler represented by the following formula (1) or (2) and at least one water-insoluble homopolymer or copolymer: ##STR1## wherein X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 each represent an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group, X.sub.3 represents an organic residue required to form a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group together with the >N-, Y represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group, and Z represents a group capable of being released upon a coupling reaction of the coupler represented by said formula with the oxidized product of a developing agent.
