Abstract

Cinnamic esters of the formula I ##STR1## where the dotted bond is a single or double bond, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or fluorine, R.sup.2 is halogen, R.sup.3 is hydrogen, halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, R.sup.4 is hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, or is C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkynyl or benzyl, and X is oxygen or sulfur, processes for their manufacture, and agents containing them.
