Abstract

New ethyl-triazolyl derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which R represents halogen, PA0 X.sup.1 represents fluorine, chlorine or bromine, PA0 X.sup.2 represents fluorine, chlorine or bromine, PA0 Z represents halogen, alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, ethyl having 1 or 2 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 halogen atoms, halogenoalkoxy having 1 or 2 carbon atoms and 1 to 5 halogen atoms, phenyl, phenoxy, nitro or alkoximinoalkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkoxy moiety and 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety and PA0 m represents the numbers 0, 1, 2 or 3, and addition products thereof with acids or metal salts are very effective for combating fungi. Novel ethyl-triazolyl derivatives of the formula ##STR2## in which R, Z and m have the abovementioned meanings, and addition products thereof with acids or metal salts are very effective for combating fungi. The ethyl-triazolyl derivatives of the formula (II) are also valuable intermediates for the synthesis of ethyl-triazolyl derivatives of the formula (I).
