Abstract
Disclosed is a photographic coupler represented by the formula 1: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and Y each represent hydrogen atom or a substituent; Z represents a non-metallic atomic group necessary for forming a 5- to 7-membered heterocyclic ring, and said 5- to 7-membered ring may have a substituent(s); and X represents hydrogen atom or a substituent which is eliminatable by the reaction with an oxidized product of a color developing agent, which is used for a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material and a heat-processable light-sensitive material.
