Abstract
A protective device for the upturned tip of snow skis which is in the form of a cap made from a resiliently flexible, weatherproof material and which provides a cushioning surface to the tip of the ski as protection against injury to skiers who may be hit by runaway skis. The cap is preferably mounted to the ski tip by a weather resistant adhesive so as to be in place at all times. In an alternative embodiment, the cap may be provided with friction producing elements to resist inadvertent removal while allowing its interchangability between multiple skis.
