Abstract

This invention relates to a vinyl aromatic. Compounds of Structure (I): ##STR1## wherein R is C.sub.9 -C.sub.20 alkyl, Y is NO.sub.2, SO.sub.3 R' or H, R' is C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl, X is NO.sub.2 or C1-C.sub.20 alkyl, and R" is H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl, m is 2 or 3 and n is 0,1,2,3, with the proviso that when R is C.sub.9 and n=O, X and Y may not both be NO.sub.2.
