Abstract
Herbicidal pyrimidine and triazine derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## and salts thereof, where: X represents --CH.dbd. or --N.dbd.; PA0 Y is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or amino group; PA0 R.sup.1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl or heterocyclyl group; PA0 R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, halogen or alkyl; and PA0 R.sup.4 and R.sup.5, which may be the same or different, each represent hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino or halogen.
