Abstract

Hardeners for epoxy resins, comprising reaction products of PA1 (A) polyamidoamines that were obtained by polycondensation of (a) dicarboxylic acids containing oxyalkylene groups, or their derivatives, with (b) polyamines containing at least two amino groups capable of undergoing condensation with (a), PA1 (B) polyamines containing at least two secondary amino groups, and PA1 (C) adducts of (c) polyepoxy compounds and (d) polyalkylene polyether polyols. Epoxy resins that have been cured with these hardeners exhibit in particular a very good water resistance.
