Abstract

Water-thinnable two-component coating preparation, comprising PA0 a) a polyisocyanate component comprising one or more organic polyisocyanates, and PA0 b) a polyurethane resin prepared by PA1 1. reacting PA2 (A) polyisocyanates with PA2 (B) polyols having an average molecular weight M.sub.n of at least 400, PA2 (C) optionally low molecular weight polyols and PA2 (D) compounds having at least two groups which are reactive toward isocyanate groups and at least one group which is capable of anion formation, to give a prepolymer containing free NCO groups and PA1 2. reacting the prepolymer prepared in step 1 with at least one of the components: PA2 (E) low molecular weight polyols carrying no further groups which are reactive toward isocyanate groups, these compounds being employed in excess; PA2 (F) compounds which are monofunctional or contain active hydrogen of differing reactivity, and are different from (E), and optionally PA2 (G) compounds which are different from (B), (C), (D), (E) and (F) and contain at least two groups which react with NCO groups.
