Abstract
A novel diazo type recording material is provided comprising a recording layer containing at least one light-sensitive diazo compound incorporated in microcapsules and a coupling component which undergoes reaction with said diazo compound in a basic atmosphere to develop a color on a support, wherein said coupling component is a mixture of at least one compound represented by the following general formula [I] and at least one compound represented by the following general formula [II]: ##STR1## wherein A represents an alkylene group having from 1 to 22 carbon atoms containing an ether or thioether bond; B represents hydrogen atom, cyclohexyl group, morpholino group or piperidino group; and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represent hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkoxy group having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms or halogen atom.
