Abstract

Circulation-active dihydropyridines of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 is H, CN, NO.sub.2 or --COOR.sup.7, PA1 R.sup.7 is H, alkyl or various other radicals, PA1 R.sup.2 and R.sup.4 each independently is alkyl or other radicals, PA1 R.sup.3 is H or optionally substituted alkyl, and PA1 R.sup.5 completes a keto or ester group, and physiologically acceptable salts thereof. Also the aldehyde intermediate therefor of the formula ##STR2##
