Abstract

Photocurable silicone compositions based on capping of a silicone with a silyl diacrylate capper of the formula ##STR1## wherein: R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, and R .sub.10 are independently selected from hydrogen, halo, and organo radicals; and n is an integer having a value of from 1 to 4. In specific embodiments, the compositions include a polymodal-cure resin composition comprising an acryloxy-functional capped silicone, and a photocurable silicone gel composition and precursor thereof.
