Abstract
A selective herbicidal composition for controlling grasses and weeds in crops of useful plants comprises PA1 a) a herbicidally effective amount of a sulfonylurea of formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently of one another are methyl or methoxy; PA2 R.sub.3 is hydrogen, halogen, methyl or methoxy; and PA1 b) a herbicide-antagonistically effective amount of a quinoline derivative of formula II ##STR2## wherein R is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl and PA2 X is hydrogen or chlorine.
