Abstract
A process for dyeing nylon with acid or premetallized acid dyes is provided wherein the dye bath is brought to a temperature of 160.degree.-230.degree. F. and a pH of 5.5-4.0, followed by the gradual addition of sulfamic acid to lower the pH to 3.75-2.25, thereby improving dye exhaustion.
