Abstract
The present invention relates to a liquid crystal composition which comprises approximately by weight 7 to 70% a nonionic surface active agent. 0 to 30% of an aliphatic hydrocarbon having about 6 to 16 carbon atoms, and 10 to 90% of an essentially nonaqueous polar solvent having a Hansen hydrogen bonding solubility parameter at 25.degree. C. of at least 12M Pa.sup.1/2.
