Abstract
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The light-sensitive material comprises a spectrally sensitized silver halide emulsion layer and a non-light-sensitive layer provided on a support. According to the present invention, the silver halide emulsion layer or the non-light-sensitive layer contains a complex of Ni, Co, Mn or Zn with a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein ##STR2## Y is CR.sup.3 or N; Z is CR.sup.4 or N; each of R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 independently is hydrogen, a halogen atom, hydroxyl, amino, hydroxyamino, cyano, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkylthio group, an alkylamino group, an arylamino group, an alkoxycarbonyl group or an acylamino group; R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 with X and Cx may form benzene ring or a six-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring; and the benzene ring or the six-membered nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring may be substituted with a halogen atom, hydroxyl, amino, hydroxyamino, cyano, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkylthio group, an alkylamino group, an arylamino group, an alkoxycarbonyl group or an acylamino group.
