Abstract

There are described azo dyes of the formula ##STR1## where in case a) PA1 m is 1, PA1 n is 0, PA1 Y is hydroxyl, and PA1 L is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkylene, or PA0 in case b) PA1 m is 0 or 1, PA1 n is 1, PA1 X is hydrogen, PA1 Y is imino, and PA1 L is 1,4-piperazinediyl when m is 0 or PA1 C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -alkylene or phenylene when m is 1, the use thereof for dyeing or printing paper stock, and dye mixtures comprising the dyes.
