Abstract

A color photographic silver halide material comprising at least one negatively developing, green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing at least one magenta coupler can be adjusted to any desired sensitivity of that layer without any changes in other sensitometric properties by addition of at least one compound corresponding to general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein is hydrogen or halogen, PA1 Y is NR.sub.2, O or S and PA1 is hydrogen or C.sub.1-4 alkyl.
