Abstract
This invention relates to glass compositions intended for forming a substrate used in the production of electronic equipment. The glasses according to this invention comprise the following constituents within the limits expressed below in cation percentages: ______________________________________ SiO.sub.2 + B.sub.2 O.sub.3 57 to 67% with B.sub.2 O.sub.3 5 to 20% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 14 to 18% RO (CaO + MgO + BaO + SrO) 18 to 25% where Cao/Ro .gtoreq. 0.7 and CaO .gtoreq. 18% Na.sub.2 O + K.sub.2 O 0 to 0.5% TiO.sub.2 0 to 2.5% Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3 .ltoreq.0.5% F.sub.2 0 to 3% ______________________________________ PA1 F.sub.2 being regarded as a cation.
