Abstract

A process is disclosed for producing CF.sub.3 CHFCH.sub.2 F using vapor phase catalytic dehydrohalogenation to produce CF.sub.3 CF.dbd.CHF and HF, followed by vapor phase catalytic hydrogenation of CF.sub.3 CF.dbd.CHF in the presence of HF.
