Abstract
A mixing apparatus including a vertical cylindrical mixing tank; a rotating shaft vertically installed at the center of the interior of the vertical cylindrical mixing tank; and a plurality of paddle impellers attached at upper and lower stages on the rotating shaft, one of the paddle impellers at the lower stage being disposed close to the bottom of the mixing tank, and each paddle impeller positioned at the upper stage being arranged at crossing angles of less than 90.degree. ahead of the adjacent lower paddle impeller.
