Abstract

Complex compounds of general Formula I ##STR1## wherein X is a hydrogen atom and/or a metal ion equivalent of at least one element of atomic numbers 21-29, 42, 44 or 58-70, with at least two of the substituents X representing a metal ion equivalent, and PA0 R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, Y and n are defined herein, as well as their salts with organic and/or inorganic bases, are valuable compounds for organ-specific NMR diagnostics.
