Abstract
The invention relates to a process for producing a cyclosporin, especially cyclosporin A, by cultivating the strain (LEA3) of the novel Tolypocladium species aerobically at a temperature of 20.degree.-30 .degree. C. in a nutrient medium containing carbon sources, nitrogen sources and mineral salts, and, if desired, isolating and purifying the resulting cyclosporin.
