Abstract

Polymer compositions based on fluoropolymers intended especially for the manufacture of electrical cables and of flexible pipes, comprising, by weight, PA1 (A) from 25 to 75% of PVDF homopolymer; PA1 (B) from 25 to 75% of a thermoplastic copolymer of VF.sub.2 and of at least one other fluoromonomer, exhibiting a content of 5 to 25% of this other monomer. This other fluorocomonomer may be in particular CTFE (chlorotrifluoroethylene), HFP (hexafluoropropylene) or TrFE (trifluoroethylene). Articles produced from these compositions have good mechanical properties at low temperature.
