Abstract

Useful for the ink jet process are dye preparations which contain from 0.01 to 10% by weight, based on the weight of the preparation, of a dye quantity which is from 90 to 100% by weight the dye of the formula I ##STR1## where Kat.sym. is the equivalent of a metal or ammonium ion, from 0 to 15% by weight, based on the weight of the preparation, of one or more water-miscible organic solvents, and from 75 to 99.99% by weight, based on the weight of preparation, of water and which are essentially free of foreign salts, in the ink jet process.
