Abstract

The production of paste-form, bleach-containing and substantially water-free detergents or cleaning preparations was to be improved by the direct use of hydrated zeolite. This was essentially done by impregnating the zeolite with 3 times to 10 times the quantity, based on its weight, of an organic polar deactivating agent which is liquid at room temperature and normal pressure and which has a dielectric constant at 20.degree. C. of at least 2.3 C.sup.2. The detergents or cleaning preparations in question are produced by PA1 (a) impregnating a quantity of 10 parts by weight to 30 parts by weight synthetic hydrated zeolite NaA with PA1 (b) 3 times to 10 times the quantity of the deactivating agent mentioned, PA1 (c) optionally removing the liquid deactivating agent until the ratio by weight of zeolite to deactivating agent is 1:1 to 1:5 and PA1 (d) incorporating a quantity of 100 parts by weight to 150 parts by weight surfactant, PA1 (e) a quantity of 10 parts by weight to 30 parts by weight bleaching agent, PA1 (f) a quantity of up to 10 parts by weight bleach activator and PA1 (g) optionally other ingredients of detergents or cleaning preparations.
