Abstract
There are provided aqueous emulsions useful for rendering porous substrates water repellent comprising PA1 a) a hydrolyzable silane and/or siloxane, b) an organopolysiloxane resin consisting of R.sub.3 SiO.sub.0.5 siloxane units and SiO.sub.2 siloxane units, or R.sub.3 SiO.sub.0.5 units, R.sub.2 SiO units, and SiO.sub.2 siloxane units, PA1 c) a filler having a surface area of at least 40 m.sup.2 /g, PA1 d) an emulsifying agent, and PA1 e) water. Such compositions are especially useful on masonry exposed to wind-driven rain.
