Abstract
A method of desilvering an imagewise and developed color silver halide element, said method comprising bleaching the photographic element with a peracid bleach and subsequently contacting the photographic element with a fixer solution comprising thiosulfate anion and sodium cation; PA1 wherein the Molar-minute fixing Time is less than about 0.2 Molar-minutes.times.m.sup.2 /g Ag.times.the grams of incorporated silver per square meter of the photographic element.
