Abstract
A decorative display device having an improved support structure is disclosed which enables at least the exterior portion of the base to be formed of glass material. The transparent housing and stopper member assembly is mounted on a support which may be formed separately from an external base portion which has an improved aesthetic appearance. The support is associated with the base so as to support the transparent housing. The transparent housing may be attached to the support by adhesive, since the support need not be formed of glass material and the adhesively bonded portions will be hidden from view by the decorative base member. The improved support structure prevents any possibility of adhesive being inadvertently placed on the exterior surfaces of the base, thereby improving the appearance of the decorative display device.
