Abstract
A polymerization catalyst comprising a polycation complex (A) represented by the following Formula, [(CUHC).sub.n MX.sub.m ].sup.j+ .multidot.([Y].sup.-)j; [(CUHC): a cyclic unsaturated hydrocarbon group], more particularly, a polymerization catalyst comprising the reaction product of a transition metal compound and an ionic compound (b) capable of forming an ionic complex when reacted with a transition metal compound, and the above-mentioned compound (b), is disclosed.
