Abstract
An image forming apparatus includes a manual sheet feeder for permitting a recording material to be manually fed; cassette feeder for feeding a recording material from a cassette; an image forming device for forming an image on the fed recording material; double side mode selector for selecting a double side mode in which the images are formed on both surfaces of the recording material; wherein the image forming device is conditioned for forming the images on both surfaces, when the manual feeder is in manual feeding state, and the double side mode is selected by the double side mode selecter.
