Abstract

Thermally stable textile lubricants obtained by reaction of PA1 a) polyols with PA1 b) fatty acids containing 6 to 22 carbon atoms in the presence of 0.05 to 8% by weight, based on the sum of components a) and b), of PA1 c) esters of thiocarboxylic acids corresponding to general formula (I) and/or (II): EQU R.sup.1 --S--R.sup.2 --COOH (I) EQU HOOC--R.sup.3 --S--R.sup.4 --COOH (II) in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 may be the same or different and represent an alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or alkaryl group containing 1 to 22 carbon atoms.
