Abstract

The present invention relates to the use in cosmetics or in topical application of an aqueous dispersion containing, in a cosmetically acceptable aqueous medium, at least one organopolysiloxane and one crosslinked acrylamide/neutralized 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid copolymer, with the proviso that the organopolysiloxane is not a linear dimethylpolysiloxane with a viscosity of less than 10.sup.-1 m.sup.2 /s.
