Abstract
Disclosed herein is a dye represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently a radical selected from the Group B or a radical of the formula (i) or (ii), R.sub.5 is CH.sub.3 or COONH.sub.4, and R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 are independently a radical selected from the Group B or a radical of the formula (iii), with the proviso that in a molecule of the dye, the number of SO.sub.3 NH.sub.4 is 1 and the number of COONH.sub.4 is 2 or 3: Group B: H, OH, CH.sub.3, C.sub.1, COONH.sub.4 and SO.sub.3 NH.sub.4 ; ##STR2##
