Abstract
Advantageous titania based catalyst carriers for use in applications requiring a balance of surface area and crush strength can be obtained by using as the starting material a titania hydrate pulp with a surface area above about 200 m.sup.2 /g and an LOI of from about 15% to about 40% by weight.
