Abstract
Topically applicable sunscreen/cosmetic compositions having improved cosmetic properties and well suited for enhanced photoprotection of human skin and/or hair against the damaging effects of UV-A and UV-B irradiation, particularly solar radiation, comprise (i) a photoprotecting effective amount of 2,4,6-tris[p-((2'-ethylhexyl)oxycarbonyl)anilino]-1,3,5-triazine and (ii) the oil dioctyl malate, in an amount effective to itself substantially dissolve the total amount of triazine compound (i), in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle, diluent or carrier therefor.
