Abstract
This invention relates to a method for treating angina pectoris. Pursuant to this method, a .beta.-adrenergic-blocking agent is administered acutely to a person having angina to provide an essentially immediate, therapeutic amount of bioavailable blocking agent. The invention further relates to a method wherein the blocking agent is nasally administered for this purpose.
